I’ve been meaning to write about this book for awhile now, because it consumed me in the best way writing can. I found myself reading Boy Swallows Universe every chance I got. Trent Dalton’s style is just so gorgeous and captivating.
I never pictured myself reading Slaughterhouse-Five until an important friend of mine recommended it to me, and I’m glad I gave the book a chance.
Who would have guessed I’d find myself well, loving, such a well loved book? I wish I had picked it up earlier.
Unsurprisingly, the new augmented reality game Men in Black: Global Invasion left me feeling just as disappointed as the new movie.
Global Invasion feels like a cheap cashgrab movie tie-in, and despite being in early access for months, the release still feels just as bare-bones as the beta.
The opening for IT Part 2 is the most brutal and cruel scene I’ve ever watched. It also does a perfect job at setting the tone for the rest of the film, and what to expect.
In a good way, the scene is more raw and horrifying than what I imagined when I read the book. On that note, who said movies can’t be more terrifying than your imagination?
