Is there a new Monster Hunter mobile game in the works? The developers behind Pokémon Unite are working with Capcom on a new title.
The team behind Pokémon Unite—TiMi Studio will be working on the game. They’ve also worked on Call of Duty Mobile, which is great at recreating the shooting experience.
Want to read the official press release? You can head over to TiMi Studio’s news blog! Here’s what the developers had to say:
“The in-development game will reproduce the hunting actions that define the Monster Hunter series, and offers players a new game experience unique for mobile devices and phones.”
They want to give Monster Hunter fans new ways to play—and to be able to play on the go. The franchise has definitely hit its stride with World, and now Rise.
I’m a huge fan of the games, and have been playing since Freedom Unite on PSP! It’s easily one of my favorite JRPG series.
Whether you like mobile gaming, you can’t say that TiMi doesn’t have an amazing track record. CoD Mobile is a huge hit, and honestly great fun.
I’ve spent my large share of hours in Unite as well—both on the Switch and Mobile. Also, with the Monster Hunter MMO being shut down, this could be a great replacement!
The prospect of a Monster Hunter mobile game sounds incredible. I’ll certainly be giving it a go! Having a live service MH game has me excited.
