Get into the Honkai Star Rail hype, and check out the special, 48-minute-long presentation!

It’s the newest game in the HoYoverse from miHoYo. It’ll be coming off the success of Genshin Impact, and is the perfect game to play if you wanted a break from Genshin’s open world.

Star Rail will feature turn-based gameplay, more similar to recent titles like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Dragon Quest 11. Instead of an open world, it’ll feature open areas and interconnected zones that you can explore.

If you wanted a break from Genshin’s heavy fantasy setting, the futuristic sci-fi world of Honkai Star Rail is perfect. It’s refreshing to see the space setting, and inspired designs.

Honkai Star Rail is set to release on the 26th of April this year. It’s also been announced for release on PlayStation consoles, as well as PC, Android, and iOS.

You can pre-register for Honkai Star Rail over on the official website, as well as participate in events for rewards. The game will be following a similar live-service model similar to Genshin, with new characters and content released regularly.

As a huge JRPG fan, this game sounds incredible. A high-quality, multi-platform turn-based game that I can play on the go, or in the comfort of my own home.

The character designs are also phenomenal, and I love the look of the player character—The Trailblazer! You can take a look at the masculine/feminine Trailblazer below.

The game is also set to feature a lot of quality-of-life elements fans have been asking for in Genshin. It’ll also be free-to-play, so it’s worth keeping it on your radar!

Star Rail has already had several beta tests, with the final one ending recently… Feedback has been extremely positive, with players and media outlets praising the visuals, depth of the combat system, whilst making it accessible for people new to JRPG turn-based battling, and coming from Genshin.

If you’re interested in high-quality multiplatform titles like Genshin and Honkai Star Rail, you should also check out 7 Deadly Sins Origin. It’s a new title featuring the titular anime IP coming from Netmarble for PC, Android, and Consoles.
