So it has just been announced… Niantic’s attempt to bring Catan to augmented reality, Catan — World Explorers will be shutting down later this year.

So I’ve been playing a lot of Catan: World Explorers recently, and there’s a feature I’d love to see come to Pokémon GO.
For those unaware, Catan: World Explorers is also made by Niantic, and currently in early access in parts of the world.
Niantic’s latest game has been available for a few months now in Australia, New Zealand and a few other countries.
The gameplay for World Explorers is actually surprisingly different compared to their other titles, like Pokemon GO or Wizards Unite.
