Earlier this year, Niantic shut down Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, and closed the curtains on Catan: World Explorers. Now, Niantic cancels more projects, including the recently announced Transformers: Heavy Metal.
So I’ve been playing a lot of Catan: World Explorers recently, and there’s a feature I’d love to see come to Pokémon GO.
For those unaware, Catan: World Explorers is also made by Niantic, and currently in early access in parts of the world.
Last week Microsoft silently dropped a new video titled “What’s Minecraft up to?” So what exactly are they planning? Are they jumping on the Pokemon Go hype? It looks like they’re teasing an augmented reality Minecraft game for mobile.
