A teaser trailer has just dropped for the Xenoverse 2 New DLC—Future Saga Chapter 1. Get your Super Saiyan on because Fu is back and he means business…
Not much is currently known about this DLC, aside from the fact it’ll bring in new playable characters, scenarios, and also a new mode that is a continuation of the “Villainous Mode”.
This will be the first time in a few years that we’ll be seeing a direct continuation of Fu’s story. He’s an interesting character for sure—the artificial son of demon Towa and her creation Mira.
Along with the brief teaser trailer, we also got an updated look at the roadmap the Xenoverse 2 DLC posted a few months ago.
We’ll be getting a range of new playable characters this DLC, including Vegeta (Super Saiyan God, Ultra Supervillain) and Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose, Ultra Supervillain).
The Future Saga DLC will include four parts, with the first part—Chapter 1 coming Spring 2024.
Even in the face of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, Xenoverse 2 stands strong. Over 7 years later, the game is getting new DLC with at least three more planned and has 1 million monthly active players!
In an interview with the Xenoverse 2 producer, they stated they want to keep updating the game for years to come. This DLC announcement as well as the next-generation console graphic upgrades are proof of their commitment.
